NSPCC Royal Windsor Clay Shoot
Thank you for attending the NSPCC Royal Windsor Clay Shoot. We are delighted to be able to host this memorable shooting experience at Windsor Great Park and we hope you have an enjoyable day.

Below, we have included an outline of the requirements for the event, please read this carefully to ensure you are fully prepared for the day.


Before the event
Please ensure you have filled out our guest registration form so that we are aware of your gun and dietary requirements in advance of the event.

Please note, due to the restrictions of the venue, we are only able to have shooters attend the day and are unable to host team member guests at the luncheon.

Travelling to the event

Parking and registration for the event will be at the York Club, directions and travel information can be found here.

If you are travelling with your gun, by law you will need to ensure you always have your gun licence with you.

What to wear/bring

The shooting element of the event is completely outside and will go ahead no matter what the weather is doing so please be prepared for all eventualities.

Please bring with you:

· A warm, waterproof coat suitable for wet weather

· Sun cream if the weather is on our side

· Sensible outdoor footwear

· A change of footwear for luncheon

· A handguard or glove especially if you are shooting with a side by side

· Sunglasses – essential for one of our drives

· Hearing, head and eye protection

Gun hire and storage

If required, you can hire a gun for the day from The Royal Berkshire Shooting School. Gun hire will cost £120 plus vat to be charged to the guest and need to be hired at least 10 days in advance of event. Please contact Katie on: 01491 672900 or Katie@rbss.co.uk

If you are travelling with your gun, please remember by law you will need to ensure you always have your gun licence with you.

Safety

Due to the nature of the event, guest safety is our top priority.

Please ensure you arrive on time so that you can attend the safety briefing at the start of the event. Guests who arrive late and miss the briefing will not be able to shoot until a member of the shooting school has had the opportunity to brief them, which may result in missing some of the event.

Unexperienced shooters will be required to be accompanied by an instructor throughout the day, which you can specify through our guest registration form.

Please note drinking alcohol is not permitted during the shooting aspect of the day between 8.30am – 2.pm.

Timings

Registration and breakfast will be at 8.30am at the York Club. We expect the event to be finished by 5.45pm. Please visit the schedule page for full timings for the day.

Photography

A professional photographer will be present at the Royal Windsor Clay Shoot. By attending the event, you give permission for any photograph in which you feature, to be used for future NSPCC event marketing materials.
